Resort builder Mark Advent said the waterfall would be the centerpiece of his $3,5 billion proposal to build and manage Singapore’s second casino resort.
The 49-hectare complex will be located on Singapore’s island of Sentosa and will include a hotel (built around a football stadium affiliated to Brazilian soccer star. Pele) and a Spa managed by guru Deepak Chopra.
The consortium has submitted the most expensive bid among three others.
Advent said the hotel will offer more than 2,100 rooms and that the complex should generate $5,6 billion in visitors spending by 2015 allowing the consortium to recover the investment in five years.
The opening of the complex is due to 2010.
