Bodog, with almost 2,000 Cost Rican employees, announced the closing of its office in Costa Rica and new opening in Antigua on a press release published last Saturday.

Bodog owner, Canadian magnate Calvin Ayre, finished his operations after the US anti-online gambling law was passed. He’s now planning to work with the European market.

Last August 10th, BetOnSport, with more than 2,000 employees, announced its closing because of a pending trial on the States. American authorities arrested the British citizen and BetOnSport owner, David Carruthers, in Texas when he was heading to Costa Rica.
