A man and a woman arrested at Coachella, California
Two kidnapping suspects, a man and a woman, were recently arrested at the Spotlight 29 Casino, in Coachella, California. Fernando Parada Laborin and Adriana Yesenia Arana, both 30 and residents of Phoenix, Arizona, were taken under police custody for kidnapping two Mexican citizens.
The Casino Security staff saw the couple in a suspicious behavior and started following them. They were with one of the kidnapped men; the other one was handcuffed in the back of one of the suspects’ car.
Authorities think the kidnappers were trying to ask for a ransom to the Mexican citizens’ families, who live in Mecca, California. The victims are allowed to stay in the States for as long as the trial lasts.
